GP: "In some moments fast-paced and brutal fun and many more outright vexing in terms of design, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is likely to be very divisive. For fans of the series and newcomers alike, it will be a real test of patience if they want to extract enjoyment out of this title even with this enhanced version."

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge Review | Tech-Gaming

Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge Review (3)Upon its release a year ago, Ninja Gaiden 3 failed to make an impact, mainly due to its tepid combat mechanics which seemed to favor accessibility and embellishment over the type of controller-clenching precision that the series is known for. Pleasingly, the release of Razors Edge remedies many of those flaws, delivering the game that Team NINJAs devotees have longed for.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge Review | Analog Addiction

Analog Addiction writes: "Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge is an unusual beast, with Ninja Gaiden 3 originally releasing in 2012 to generally negative reviews. When Wii U launched late last year, Nintendo fans were greeted to this Definitive version of Ninja Gaiden 3 which hoped to aid the many issues that plagued the original release. Bring us to April 2013 and this updated version of the original game is now making its way back to current generation consoles, you still with me?"

Koopa Soundworks World 1-2 is an epic game music collaboration

Added: 03.05.2013 10:17 | 13 views | 0 comments

"What happens when you lump Mega Man, Journey, Spelunky, Ninja Gaiden and Silent Hills composers together with game music cover groups like Stemage, Danimal Cannon, Video Game Orchestra and more? World 1-2, thats what. Koopa Soundworks Mohammed Taher has amassed a musical collaboration of epic proportions, bringing game composers like Manami Matsumae (Mega Man), Austin Wintory (Journey), and Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill) and indie videogame music cover artists aboard to create both original, game-influenced music and VGM remixes for the masses. Games like Metroid Prime, Sword Sorcery, Super Mario World and Final Fantasy Tactics are covered, and the genres widely vary from electronic chiptune, orchestral and some shredding metal. Its a lovely ear orgasm." - Patrick Kulikowski

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge Review | Impulse Gamer

Impulse Gamer: "A marginally better game than its predecessor, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge is worthy of a rental but the development team are going to have to return to the drawing board if they hope to return the series to its former glory. Its a shame to see such a beloved franchise topple from such lofty heights; many a weekend was sunk into achieving perfect scores on Ninja Gaiden: Black in the heady days of my youth and hopefully the inevitable follow up returns the series to its classic gaming roots."

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge Review | Blistered Thumbs

BT writes: In the end, Im sad to say that Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge, even with the legitimate improvements made to the original, is a major disappointment for me. I have always had a liking for action games of this nature, but every time I played through a level, I asked myself why I wasnt playing a better example of such a game. With an awful story and a fundamentally flawed combat system, Razors Edge gave me more than a healthy dose of frustration with a smattering of slightly fun battles in-between.
